Informative day at Solar and Storage Live Expo where it was interesting to get to grips with the latest developments in this fast expanding sector. With the last coal fired powered station in the UK closing this month & a new government that have outlined ambitious renewable energy targets by 2030 the next 5 years or so are crucial in our fight to get as close to Net Zero as possible. There is roughly 25 GW in untapped capacity avilable in industrial rooftop solar & significant operational savings to be made in the manufacturing sector in particular.
